1. Who We Are

ScrinoAI ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered candidate screening platform operated at scrino.ai. We provide automated interview evaluation services to HR teams and organisations ("HR Users") and conduct AI-led interviews with job candidates ("Candidates"). 2. Data We Collect

From HR Users (Account Holders):

  • Full name and work email address
  • Organisation name
  • Payment information (processed securely via Razorpay — we do not store card details)
  • Credit purchase and usage history
  • Drive and hiring campaign data created on the platform

From Candidates (Interview Participants):

  • Full name, email address, and contact number
  • Years of experience
  • Resume (PDF format)
  • Profile photograph (optional)
  • Audio recordings of interview responses
  • Speech-to-text transcripts of responses
  • AI-generated evaluation scores and reports

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To operate and deliver the ScrinoAI platform and its features
  • To generate AI-driven interview questions tailored to the job description and candidate resume
  • To transcribe candidate audio responses using speech-to-text technology
  • To evaluate and score candidate responses using AI models
  • To generate candidate evaluation reports for HR Users
  • To process payments and manage credit balances
  • To send transactional emails (shortlist notifications, password resets, purchase confirmations)
  • To maintain platform security and prevent abuse
  • To improve the accuracy and performance of our AI evaluation models

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the following legal bases: • Consent: Candidates provide explicit consent before beginning any interview session. This consent is mandatory and logged. • Contract: HR User data is processed to fulfil our service agreement. • Legitimate Interest: Platform security, fraud prevention, and service improvement. • Legal Obligation: Compliance with applicable Indian laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the SPDI Rules, 2011.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following categories of third-party service providers, strictly for operating the platform:

  • Supabase – Database, authentication, and file storage
  • n8n – Workflow automation and backend processing
  • Razorpay – Payment processing (governed by Razorpay's own privacy policy)
  • AI model providers – For question generation and response evaluation (data is not used to train third-party models under our agreements)
  • Zoho Mail – Transactional email delivery

6. Data Retention

  • Candidate audio recordings: Retained for 90 days post-interview, then permanently deleted
  • Candidate transcripts and evaluation reports: Retained for the duration of the associated drive, plus 12 months
  • HR User account data: Retained for the duration of the account and 24 months after closure
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required under Indian financial regulations

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Withdrawal of Consent: Candidates may withdraw consent; note this will not affect completed interviews
  • Grievance Redressal: You may raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Row-level security in our database ensuring HR Users can only access their own data
  • Secure cloud storage for all uploaded files and audio recordings
  • No storage of payment card details on our servers

9. Cookies

ScrinoAI uses essential cookies only — for authentication session management and platform security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics cookies are placed on your device.

10. Children's Privacy

ScrinoAI is intended for use by professionals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our platform, contact us immediately at support@scrino.ai and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify active HR Users via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
